Mayor's Message

On behalf of the citizens of Regina, and my colleagues on City Council, I encourage and wholeheartedly support the Chief Piapot Anniversary Committee as they plan to celebrate the 135th Anniversary of Chief Piapot signing Treaty #4 with the British Crown.

Together the RSO, the talented Pow Wow dancers, Oscana Chorus and Dance Ensemble will make this a memorable event.

I commend and thank the organizers and all those involved with the Chief Piapot Anniversary Committee for giving their time and energy to ensure its success. This event is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the talent, achievements and leadership of First Nation people.

I fully support the Chief Piapot Anniversary Committee as they celebrate this special event.
